Goldstone Hospitality Private Limited is a hospitality company focused on developing and operating premium food and beverage concepts.

The company is building SOMARA, a contemporary World Cuisine restrobar in Lucknow, with plans to develop and expand hospitality concepts across India.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and people-focused HR Manager to build the company's HR function and manage human resources across corporate and hospitality operations.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage complete HR operations for Goldstone Hospitality Private Limited.
- Develop HR systems, policies and processes for the company and its hospitality operations.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for corporate, management, F&B;, kitchen, bar, sales, marketing, administration and support positions.
- Develop annual and project-wise manpower plans in coordination with management and department heads.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies, references, hospitality networks, walk-ins and other channels.
- Screen candidates, conduct initial interviews and coordinate final interviews with department heads and management.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, employment agreements and joining documentation.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction and orientation.
- Maintain complete and accurate employee records and personnel files.
- Manage attendance, leave, employee documentation and HR databases.
- Coordinate monthly payroll with the Accounts/Finance team.
- Manage salary structures, incentives, overtime, deductions and attendance-related payroll inputs.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbook and internal HR SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace concerns.
- Coordinate employee performance reviews, appraisals and probation confirmations.
- Develop performance-management systems and KPIs for different departments.
- Monitor employee retention, attrition and manpower requirements.
- Develop employee engagement and retention initiatives.




- Identify training and development requirements across departments.
- Coordinate professional training programmes for management, F&B;, kitchen and support teams.
- Maintain employee confidentiality and professional HR standards.
- Manage employee exits, notice periods, full-and-final settlements and exit interviews.
- Prepare regular HR reports for management covering recruitment, manpower, attendance, attrition, payroll and employee performance.
- Support management in building a strong professional culture across Goldstone Hospitality.

Hospitality Recruitment The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment across multiple functions, including: Corporate Management | General Management | Restaurant Operations | Executive Chefs | Sous Chefs | Chef de Parties | Commis Chefs | Bartenders | F&B; Service | Sales | Marketing | Customer Relations | Finance | Administration | Housekeeping | Security | Maintenance | Support Staff

Pre-Opening & New Project Responsibilities The HR Manager will be responsible for manpower planning and HR preparation for new hospitality projects, including:

- Develop project-wise manpower plans.
- Create department-wise organisational structures.
- Establish recruitment timelines.
- Conduct high-volume recruitment drives.
- Build candidate pipelines for specialised hospitality positions.
- Coordinate interviews and selection.
- Complete employee documentation and onboarding.
- Establish attendance and HR systems before opening.
- Coordinate pre-opening training.
- Develop project-specific HR SOPs.
- Ensure complete staffing before operational launch.
- Support management during new outlet/project expansion.

Corporate HR Responsibilities In addition to hospitality operations, the HR Manager will manage HR requirements for the Goldstone Hospitality corporate office, including:
- Corporate recruitment
- Employee onboarding
- Attendance and leave management
- Performance management

- Training and development
- HR policies
- Payroll coordination
- Employee records
- Office discipline and administration
- Internal communication
- Employee grievance management

Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of relevant HR experience.
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, F&B; companies or multi-unit businesses preferred.
- Experience as HR Manager / HR Generalist / Assistant HR Manager.
- Strong experience in recruitment and manpower planning.
- Experience handling both corporate and operational-level hiring.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employee relations and payroll coordination.
- Working knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid interviewing and candidate-assessment abilities.
- Experience with HRMS, attendance and payroll systems preferred.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and hiring requirements simultaneously.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally.
- Graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be an advantage.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for a hands-on HR leader, not simply an administrative HR executive.

The ideal candidate should be capable of building the HR function of a growing hospitality company from the ground up, while understanding the unique manpower requirements of restaurants and F&B; operations.

The candidate should be comfortable working directly with senior management, department heads and frontline employees and should have the ability to build a skilled, disciplined and performance-driven organisation culture.
