Role Description This is a full-time, in office Homecare Physiotherapist role based in Bhubaneswar.

The Homecare

Physiotherapist will visit clients at their homes to assess physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Daily tasks include conducting physical examinations, implementing exercise programs, educating clients and families on home-based care and injury prevention, and monitoring progress over time. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, coordinating with healthcare teams and NSS program coordinators, and promoting safe, evidence-based practices in line with organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

- Relevant academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT)



from a recognized institution; registration with applicable professional or state council where required.
- Clinical skills: Ability to perform physical assessments, design and implement treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic exercises and manual therapy for musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative conditions.
- Homecare and community engagement: Comfort working in clients’ homes, promoting patient safety, adapting treatment to varied environments, and demonstrating sensitivity to diverse social and cultural contexts.
- Communication and interpersonal abilities: Clear verbal and written communication, capacity to educate patients and caregivers, active listening, and the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals and families.
- Professional qualities: Strong ethical standards, reliability, time management, and ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and NSS program staff.
- Experience level: 0–3 years of relevant physiotherapy practice; exposure to homecare, rehabilitation, or community health settings is an advantage.
- Additional skills: Basic documentation and record-keeping skills, familiarity with evidence-based physiotherapy practices, and willingness to participate in outreach and community service activities aligned with NSS values.
