About Nandighosh

Nandighosh is a second-generation intercity bus company, on the road in Odisha since 1998. We run premium AC sleeper services, charters, tourist packages and logistics. Seats are sold on our own website and app, and on redBus, AbhiBus, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo and Paytm. This role runs the operating portfolio: fleet, booking channels, pricing, passenger experience, agents, vendors and cost. You are going to help the company grow on a 10X Speed!

About the role

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

On-site, with regular travel on our routes, to workshops, counters and boarding points.

Employment: Full-time, permanent.

Compensation: ₹7-10 lakh a year CTC, fixed plus incentive.

- The range reflects operating performance. When the route does well, pay moves up the range. When it does not, it does not.
- You will run day-to-day bus operations end to end. Fleet readiness, crew, online sales channels, pricing, load factor, passenger ratings, agents, vendors and cost, and the launch of new routes and coaches. You recommend. The Managing Director approves pricing, contracts, capital spend, hiring and the opening or closing of a route.
- Buses run at night, on weekends and on public holidays. You will be reachable on days the fleet operates.

What you will do

- Keep every coach fit for service: preventive maintenance, workshop follow-up, tyres, batteries, air-conditioning, suspension and interiors.
- Track fitness, permits, insurance, road tax and pollution certificates so none lapse.
- Hold fares, seat maps, service calendars, boarding points and cancellation rules in sync across redBus, AbhiBus, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Paytm, ODbus, our website and app, and the reservation system. No berth sold twice. No departure on sale that the fleet cannot run.




- Set and defend the fare. Manage peak and off-peak, and the return leg. Measured on berths sold against berths run.
- Own platform ratings. Close complaints and remove the cause.
- Build the agent and counter network on our corridors. Keep commissions and settlements clean. Grow the share of bookings that come direct.
- Run fuel, tyre, spares, workshop and insurance vendors. Put up a monthly budget per route before the month starts, and explain any overspend in the same month.
- Survey, cost, permit, price and launch new routes and coaches, beginning with an Interstate Route.
- Speak with the Managing Director on days the fleet operates. Weekly / Daily review on load, fares, breakdowns and ratings. Monthly review on route profit, cost per kilometre and compliance.

Experience and qualifications

- 5 or more years in bus, passenger transport, travel or fleet operations.
- At least one role where you ran routes, a fleet, or a transport P&L;, not only reported on it.
- Hands-on work with bus OTAs such as redBus, AbhiBus, MakeMyTrip, Paytm and many more.
- Used a bus reservation or GDS platform such as Bitla TicketSimply, or a system close to it.
- Working knowledge of fleet maintenance, permits, fitness and RTO compliance.
- Comfortable with load factor, fare, cost per kilometre and route profit.
- Experience with agents, counters, workshops or transport vendors.
- Should Speak Odia, and Hindi or English.
- Based in Bhubaneswar, and willing to travel and stay reachable at night and on weekends.

What good looks like

- Departures leave on time. Cancellations and breakdowns stay low.
- No fitness, permit or insurance document lapses.
- Load factor and revenue per berth move in the right direction, including the return leg.
- Ratings hold up, and the same complaint does not keep coming back.
- Direct bookings grow. Agent settlements stay current.
- Cost per kilometre and fuel use stay inside the monthly budget.
- A recent route or coach is surveyed, costed and launched cleanly.
