Role Description The Head of Logistics Department is a full-time, in office role based in North Delhi, responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations for imported and distributed food products. The role includes planning and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing warehousing and distribution and ensuring timely deliveries to distributors, retail outlets and other partners.





The Head of Logistics will optimize logistics processes for cost efficiency, accuracy and compliance, including inventory management, documentation, and coordination with procurement, sales, and finance teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising logistics staff, setting performance targets, monitoring KPIs, resolving operational issues and maintaining strong relationships with transporters, warehouses and other service providers. The role also involves continuous process improvement, risk management, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Prior experience of heading logistic department at senior level.
- Willingness to work in North Delhi.
- Should possess training and team leadership skills to mentor staff, build capabilities and drive high performance in the logistics function.
- Should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in logistics or ERP software.
- Should be able to speak, read and write Hindi and English.
