Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Head to lead the Human Resources function across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 15–18 years of progressive HR experience , preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with strong expertise in HR Operations, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Talent Management, Statutory Compliance, Performance Management, and HR Strategy .

The HR Head will work closely with senior management and business leaders to build a robust people culture, ensure workforce effectiveness, and align HR initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead the overall HR function and provide strategic HR support to management.
- Partner with Plant Heads, Department Heads, and Business Leaders on people-related matters.
- Drive organizational development, workforce planning, and manpower budgeting.
- Establish and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and SOPs.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

- Lead recruitment strategy for corporate, plant, technical, managerial, and leadership positions.
- Plan manpower requirements based on business and production needs.
- Drive effective sourcing, selection, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Build talent pipelines for critical and senior-level positions.

3. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations

- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary matters, conflicts, and workplace issues.
- Develop positive employee relations across corporate and plant locations.
- Handle Industrial Relations and workforce-related matters.
- Liaise with employees, worker representatives, contractors, and management when required.




- Support management in disciplinary actions and resolution of employee-related issues.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

- Oversee end-to-end HR operations across locations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour and employment laws.
- Monitor PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, CLRA, Factory-related compliance , and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory audits, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely HR MIS and management reports.

5. Performance Management & Talent Development

- Drive the Performance Management System, appraisals, promotions, increments, and PIPs.
- Identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans.
- Design and implement employee development and career progression initiatives.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.

6. Compensation & Benefits

- Develop and review compensation structures in line with business requirements and market practices.
- Oversee payroll, attendance, leave, incentives, and employee benefits.
- Ensure appropriate controls and accuracy in payroll and HR processes.

7. Employee Engagement & Culture

- Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
- Drive employee welfare, recognition, rewards, and engagement activities.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and performance-oriented work environment.

8. HR Analytics & MIS

- Monitor and analyze key HR metrics including:
- Headcount
- Attrition
- Recruitment
- Absenteeism
- Manpower cost
- Overtime
- Employee productivity
- Training




- Employee engagement
- Present regular HR reports and insights to senior management.

9. Organization Development

- Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.
- Develop succession planning and leadership development programs.
- Identify organizational capability gaps and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR systems and processes.

Candidate Profile

- 15–18 years of overall HR experience , with significant experience in a senior HR leadership role.
- Strong experience in manufacturing / plant HR / industrial HR is preferred.
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in HR, Human Resources, Personnel Management, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work closely with senior management and business leadership.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities and Compliances.
- Experience managing HR teams across multiple functions/locations will be an advantage.
