Performance & Capability Development
- Establish appraisal systems tailored to manufacturing KPIs.
- Lead training in safety, lean manufacturing, and leadership development.
- Continuous training for technical upskilling and automation readiness.
- Promote career mobility across plants and functions.
Industrial Relations & Compliance
- Lead union negotiations,
wage settlements, and collective bargaining.
- Ensure compliance with excise laws, labor regulations, and safety standards.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and workforce disputes.
- Heavy emphasis on industrial relations due to manufacturing plant setups.
Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Drive initiatives for employee satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee welfare programs including housing, medical facilities, and CSR initiatives.
- Manage crisis situations such as strikes or political unrest to ensure operational continuity.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with finance, legal, and operations for cohesive HR execution.
