Role Description The Head of Supply Chain Management will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient sourcing, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution for Urban Platter’s product portfolio. This on-site, full time role based in Mumbai will involve designing and implementing supply chain strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and monitoring key performance indicators to meet service, cost, and quality targets. The role includes leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, collaborating with operations, procurement, and customer service to maintain high product availability and timely delivery.

The Head of Supply Chain Management will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage risk,



and support scalable processes to align with Urban Platter’s growth and customer experience goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Supply Chain Management, including demand planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
- Candidates should possess skills in Operations Management to streamline processes, optimize resources, and maintain high efficiency across the supply chain.
- Candidates should possess skills in Procurement, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Candidates should possess skills in Team Leadership to guide, motivate, and develop diverse teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service, with a focus on reliability, responsiveness, and maintaining high satisfaction levels for internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in FMCG, food, or e-commerce industries; familiarity with supply chain technologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field is preferred.
