About Home Locator Home Locator is a growing real estate consultancy focused on delivering a seamless and trusted experience for homebuyers and investors. As we continue to expand our team and strengthen our operations, we are looking for a dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead the complete HR function.
This role will be responsible for building and strengthening HR systems, driving talent acquisition, managing employee experience, ensuring smooth HR operations, and developing a strong, performance-driven culture.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-ownership HR professional who can independently lead the entire HR function and work closely with the leadership team.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where HR is not limited to policies and processes but plays an active role in building teams, developing people, strengthening culture, and supporting business growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a balance of strategic HR thinking and strong execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead the complete recruitment function across all levels and departments.
- Develop and execute effective hiring strategies aligned with business requirements.
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening to interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
- Build strong talent pipelines for current and future requirements.
- Work closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and close positions within defined timelines.
- Strengthen employer branding and improve the overall candidate experience.
2. HR Operations
- Own the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, performance management, and exits.
- Establish and streamline HR processes, systems, policies, and documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee records and HRMIS.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, employee documentation, and HR reporting.
- Ensure smooth and professional HR operations across the organization.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and internal communication.
- Build a positive, professional,
and performance-oriented work environment.
- Strengthen employee experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers.
- Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally and confidentially.
4. Performance Management
- Develop and implement effective performance management processes.
- Work with managers to establish clear KRAs, KPIs, and performance expectations.
- Support managers in performance discussions, feedback, PIPs, and employee development.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous feedback, and professional growth.
5. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, review, and update HR policies in line with business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper HR documentation and records.
- Coordinate with external consultants or advisors whenever required for compliance-related matters.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of employee and company information.
6. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Partner with the leadership team on people-related decisions and organizational growth.
- Develop HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and employee productivity.
- Build scalable HR systems and processes that support the company's growth.
- Use HR data and insights to support informed people decisions.

What We're Looking For
- 8–12 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably managing the complete HR function.
- Experience in a leadership or senior HR role with end-to-end HR ownership.
- Strong background in talent acquisition and recruitment, with demonstrated ability to close positions effectively.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll coordination, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance.
- Experience in building and implementing HR processes and policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and people-management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of ownership, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and partner effectively with senior leadership.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization or startup workplace will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
