Job Summary

Ambarion Café is looking for an experienced and skilled Head Chef to manage our kitchen operations and lead the culinary team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Continental cuisine and prior experience working in QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or café-style restaurant operations.

The candidate should be able to maintain consistent food quality, manage kitchen staff, control food costs and wastage, and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily kitchen operations.
- Lead, train, and coordinate kitchen staff.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality Continental dishes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portion size, and food quality.
- Follow standardized recipes and kitchen processes.
- Manage food inventory, stock levels, and minimize wastage.
- Maintain proper kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Ensure timely food preparation and service during peak hours.
- Assist with menu planning and development of new dishes.
- Monitor food costs and maintain portion control.




- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently according to QSR/café standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, Senior Chef, or equivalent kitchen leadership role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Continental cuisine.
- Experience in QSR, café, casual dining, or similar restaurant operations.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Experience managing and training kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant workplace.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
- Candidates who can join immediately or at short notice will be preferred.
