Job PurposeWe are seeking an empathetic, highly skilled, and safety-focused Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to head our inpatient, outpatient, and emergency maternity care. The ideal candidate will hold comprehensive surgical capabilities in minimally invasive procedures and exhibit swift crisis decision-making in the labor room to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Maternity & Delivery Management: Independently manage routine antenatal and postnatal care. Diagnose and execute treatment plans for high-risk obstetric cases (e.g., pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, multiple gestations).
- Surgical Excellence: Perform emergency and elective Caesarean sections (C-sections), as well as major/minor gynecological procedures, including hysterectomies, laparoscopies, cystectomies, and myomectomies.
- OPD Clinics & Diagnostics: Run regular outpatient consultations,



managing conditions like PCOS, hormonal imbalances, menstrual irregularities, and infertility. Conduct clinical diagnostics including pelvic ultrasounds, Pap smears, and colposcopies.
- Emergency Rotation: Actively participate in the hospital's 24x7 on-call trauma and emergency obstetric crisis rotations.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside the NICU team, anesthesiologists, and general surgeons to ensure holistic patient safety. [1]

Required Key Skills & Competencies

- Advanced Surgical Competency: Proven track record in open and minimally invasive gynecological surgeries (hysteroscopy/laparoscopy).
- Fetal Monitoring: High proficiency in cardiotocography (CTG) interpretation and emergency fetal assessment protocols.
- Empathetic Communication: Ability to deliver sensitive reproductive health diagnoses with extreme care and maintain absolute patient confidentiality.
- Insurance & Panel Compliance: Familiarity working with digital hospital records for treating patients under empanelments like Ayushman Bharat, ECHS, CGHS, and corporate TPAs.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: MD / MS / DNB / DGO in Obstetrics & Gynecology from an MCI/NMC recognized medical institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a busy hospital or trauma center setting is preferred.
- Registration: Valid, active registration with the Uttarakhand Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC)ole & responsibilities
