About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a strong interest in packaging and brand design to join our in-house team at Flavours of Calicut.

The role will primarily focus on packaging design, product artwork, labels and brand collaterals across our growing range of food products.

The ideal candidate should be able to take a packaging brief from concept to final production-ready artwork while maintaining a strong and consistent brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop packaging for recent and existing products across multiple categories and SKUs.
- Create and update pouches, labels, boxes, cartons, sleeves and other packaging formats.
- Develop packaging concepts that are visually appealing, practical and aligned with the brand identity.
- Prepare print-ready artwork, including dieline adaptations, colour specifications, dimensions, bleed and other production requirements.
- Adapt approved packaging designs across different SKUs, flavours, sizes and product variants.
- Coordinate with internal teams, packaging vendors and printers for artwork requirements, corrections and final production files.
- Make packaging artwork revisions based on regulatory, product or production requirements.
- Maintain consistency across logos, typography, colours, layouts and overall visual identity.
- Create brand collaterals such as catalogues, product sheets, retail materials, displays and other design requirements when needed.
- Organise and maintain packaging artwork and master design files for different products and versions.




- Handle multiple design projects and deliver accurate artwork within deadlines.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Good understanding of packaging design and print production.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to work with dielines and production-ready packaging artwork.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially for packaging text, dimensions, alignment and artwork accuracy.
- Ability to adapt a design across multiple SKUs and packaging formats while maintaining consistency.
- Ability to take feedback and make revisions efficiently.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating previous design work is required.

Added Advantage

Experience working with FMCG, food & beverage, consumer brands, packaging agencies or printing/packaging companies will be an advantage.

Knowledge of food packaging, printing processes, colour management and packaging materials will also be preferred.

This is an exclusively in-house role with a strong focus on packaging and brand design rather than day-to-day social media creatives.

The designer will work closely with our product, brand and operations teams and will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the packaging and visual identity of Flavours of Calicut and our growing product portfolio.
