- Perform ghat work on gold and other jewellery components as per design requirements.
- Shape, form, and prepare jewellery parts using hand tools and equipment.
- Ensure proper thickness, size, shape, and finishing of components.
- Read and understand jewellery designs and production instructions.
- Perform filing, cutting, joining, and basic finishing work as required.
- Maintain accuracy and quality standards during production.
- Handle precious metals carefully and minimize material wastage.
- Coordinate with CAD designers, setters, polishers, and other production teams.
- Inspect finished work for defects and make necessary corrections.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the workplace.
Required Skills:
- Experience as a Ghat Karigar in gold/diamond jewellery manufacturing.
- Positive knowledge of traditional jewellery-making techniques.
- Strong hand skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with precision on small and delicate components.
- Knowledge of gold, silver, and other jewellery materials.
- Ability to meet production targets while maintaining quality.
Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in jewellery manufacturing mandatory.
