– GIRLS’ HOSTEL WARDEN

Reporting To: Head – Administration / Principal

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure safety, security and discipline of all hostel students.
- Maintain daily attendance and monitor student entry/exit.
- Ensure strict compliance with hostel timings, leave and gate-pass procedures.
- Conduct regular hostel rounds, including evening/night checks.
- Monitor room, toilet, common-area and overall hostel cleanliness.
- Coordinate with Security, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Mess teams.
- Attend to student grievances, health issues and emergencies promptly.
- Inform parents/management immediately in case of unauthorized absence, illness or serious incidents.
- Maintain visitor records and ensure only authorized visitors are permitted.
- Prevent and immediately report ragging, bullying, harassment or misconduct.
- Monitor mess hygiene, food quality and dining discipline.
- Maintain hostel records including attendance, leave, gate pass, visitors, complaints and incidents.




- Report maintenance issues and ensure timely closure.
- Maintain proper room allotment and occupancy records.
- Ensure students follow all hostel rules and institutional policies.
- Submit daily/weekly reports and immediately escalate serious issues to the Administration.
- Be available during assigned duty hours and for hostel emergencies.
- Perform any other hostel-related duties assigned by the Management / Principal / Head – Administration.

Qualification & Skills
- Any Bachelor’s Degree.
- Previous experience as a Hostel Warden / Student Welfare Officer preferred.
- Good communication, discipline, documentation and student-handling skills.
- Residential availability preferred/mandatory as per institutional requirement.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
