About the Job

We are looking for a qualified and experienced German Language Trainer with C1/C2-level proficiency to join our team at S-Maths Academy, Vidyaranyapura.

The trainer will primarily teach students from A1 to B2 level and will also be responsible for grooming students who have completed B2 to improve their German communication skills and prepare them for professional interactions, including German employer interviews .

The candidate should have excellent command of German, strong communication skills and the ability to make students confident in using German in real-life and professional situations.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Vidyaranyapura Academy.

Role & Responsibilities

- Conduct German language classes from A1 to B2 level .
- Deliver engaging and interactive German language sessions.
- Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
- Plan and prepare lessons, exercises, tests and learning materials.
- Assess student performance and provide regular feedback.
- Help students develop strong grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and conversational skills .
- Provide additional mentoring and support to students who require improvement.




- Groom B2-completed students to improve their fluency, confidence and professional German communication.
- Conduct advanced conversation and communication practice for B2-completed students.
- Prepare students for German employer interviews , including mock interviews and role-play sessions.
- Train students in professional German communication, workplace vocabulary and formal conversations.
- Help students confidently communicate with German employers, colleagues and institutions.
- Support students in developing the language skills required for their professional and career-related interactions in Germany .
- Prepare students for relevant Goethe/TELC examinations up to B2 .
- Develop German language learning materials and activities.
- Conduct both classroom and online training when required.
- Be versatile with working hours based on batch and student requirements.
- Be willing to travel to partner colleges or training locations in Bangalore.
- Contribute to improving the overall German Language Training Program at S-Maths Academy.

Qualifications & Skills

- C1/C2-level qualification or equivalent proficiency in German is required.
- Certification from Goethe-Institut, TELC or another recognized institution is preferred.
- BA/MA in German Language or a relevant qualification will be an added advantage.




- 5-6 years of experience in German language teaching/training is preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written German .
- Strong communication and presentation skills in German.
- Must be capable of teaching German from A1 through B2 .
- Must be comfortable interacting with and training B2-completed students .
- Experience preparing students for Goethe/TELC examinations is preferred.
- Experience with German interview preparation or professional German communication will be an added advantage.
- Ability to explain German grammar and concepts clearly to students.
- Ability to create engaging and practical learning activities.
- Good classroom management and student mentoring skills.
- Experience with online teaching platforms such as Zoom and Google Classroom is an advantage.
- Presentable, energetic and student-oriented.
- Willingness to work from the S-Maths Academy, Vidyaranyapura on a full time basis.

Work Location S-Maths Academy, Vidyaranyapura, North Bangalore The primary work location will be the S-Maths Academy Vidyaranyapura campus .

Occasional travel to partner colleges or other training locations in Bangalore may be required.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to teach C1/C2 as a regular course , but must personally possess C1/C2-level German proficiency and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

- The trainer should be capable of taking students through the complete A1–B2 journey and, after students complete B2, help them develop the fluency, confidence and professional communication skills needed for interactions with German employers.
