We are looking for experienced candidates passionate about content editing and review of school books and learning material related to the K12 curriculum, and 4-7 years of experience in content editing. A very valuable knowledge of the English language and great proficiency in written English is a must. An academic background in Geography is also a must, with good grades. The candidate should be a subject matter expert in Social Science (History, Geography and Civics).
Mandatory Skills
- A sound knowledge of English grammar and language
- An academic degree in and sound knowledge of Social Science subjects
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- An eye for detail
- Good at spotting and correcting errors
- Able to conduct meaningful research and cross-check facts in order to review the content
- Familiar with basic content editing styles
- Familiar with editing PDF and word soft copies, with PDF tools and track changes
Eligibility
- Should have a Masters degree in Geography/Social Science
- Should have proven experience in editing, particularly in the publishing and EdTech industry
- Should be passionate about content editing and research
- Should be familiar with school education and school textbooks
- Should be eager to learn and quick to absorb knowledge
- Should have a proven expertise in the English language
