Role Description The General Operations and Business Expansion Manager will oversee day-to-day hotel operations at the Coimbatore property, ensuring smooth functioning across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.This role also involves indentifying and aquiring new lease and rental properties to expand the number of hotels under the park elanza group.This full time, in office role includes monitoring service standards, optimizing operational processes, and coordinating with department heads to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. The manager will analyze performance metrics, manage budgets, and implement cost-effective strategies while maintaining quality and brand standards. A key responsibility is driving business growth through local partnerships, corporate tie-ups, market analysis, and expansion initiatives that increase occupancy, revenue, and brand visibility.

The role also involves leading and mentoring teams,



resolving operational issues, supporting staff development, and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic planning and long-term growth for the Coimbatore property.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality operations management, with a strong track record of overseeing multi-department activities and ensuring service excellence.
- Business development and expansion skills, including market research, corporate outreach, partnership building, and revenue growth planning.
- Financial and analytical capabilities, such as budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and performance analysis using operational and revenue metrics.
- Leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, conflict resolution, and workforce planning.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities to coordinate initiatives, streamline processes, and meet operational deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with hotel management systems, reservation platforms, and basic MS Office or similar productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced qualifications in hotel or business management are an advantage.
- Prior experience in upscale or luxury hospitality environments and familiarity with the Coimbatore market are highly beneficial.
