About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Full Stack MERN Developer Intern who enjoys building complete products, from the database to the pixel-perfect UI. You will work alongside senior developers and designers, learn how production projects are built, and contribute to live websites and web apps.

Key Responsibilities

- Build responsive, fast and SEO-friendly web pages using Next.js, React.js and Tailwind CSS
- Develop REST APIs and backend logic using Node.js and Express.js
- Design and manage database schemas using MongoDB with Mongoose
- Integrate the frontend with backend APIs and third-party services
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
- Fix bugs, test features and optimize performance
- Write clean, reusable and well-documented code
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and take part in code reviews
- Help build animated and interactive 3D web experiences (if you have the skills)

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js (routing, SSR/SSG, API routes)
- Good command of Tailwind CSS and responsive design
- Working knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
- Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose
- Understanding of REST APIs, JWT/authentication basics and workplace variables
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- A portfolio or GitHub with strong projects (this matters more than your degree or marks)
- GSAP (ScrollTrigger, timelines) for animations
- Three.js / React Three Fiber (and Drei) for 3D web experiences
- Experience with Framer Motion or Lenis smooth scrolling




- Basic knowledge of TypeScript
- Deployment experience (Vercel, Render, VPS)
- Understanding of web performance, SEO and accessibility
- Basic UI/UX sense

Selection Process
- Application screening: We review your resume, portfolio and project links.
- Coding round: This tests your fundamentals, problem solving and core logic.
- Development round: You build a small, real feature or mini project (frontend and backend) using our stack, so we can see how you actually work.
- Final discussion: A short conversation about your projects, goals and expectations.

Internship Commitment (1-Year Bond) Selected candidates will sign a 1-year agreement with Graphitage.

- The intern commits to staying with the company for the full 1 year.
- The company also commits not to terminate the intern during this period, except in cases of serious misconduct or breach of company rules.
- The stipend, role, learning plan and terms will be clearly written in the agreement before you join.
