Role Description The Freight Forwarding Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The individual will handle day-to-day freight forwarding operations, including coordinating shipments, preparing and reviewing documentation, and ensuring timely movement of cargo across various modes of transport.

Responsibilities include managing bookings with carriers, tracking consignments, updating internal systems, and communicating with overseas agents, clients, and vendors to resolve operational issues. The role also involves maintaining accurate records,



supporting billing and invoicing related to freight operations and adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of freight forwarding, logistics operations, and supply chain processes, with experience in coordinating international and domestic shipments.
- Proficiency in documentation for exports and imports (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists) and familiarity with customs and regulatory compliance.
- Comfort with MS Office and logistics-related software or ERP systems, with the ability to manage data accurately and generate operational reports.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with clients, carriers, and internal teams, along with clear written communication for documentation and email correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and customer-focused approach, with a commitment to service quality and continuous process improvement.
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or back office operations is preferred; prior exposure to GSSC / BPO environments is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
