Konversa Global is looking for a senior, hands-on SEO skilled to own organic growth across our Language Training and Study Abroad verticals.

This is a strategy + execution role for someone who can independently assess the website, identify growth opportunities, build an SEO roadmap and work across technical SEO, content, authority building and conversion optimisation. We are focused on qualified organic traffic, leads and business outcomes, rather than simply publishing a fixed number of blogs or building a set number of backlinks each month.

Who we're looking for

Candidates should have

- 8+ years of SEO experience, with the last 3+ years in education, study abroad or a closely related sector
- Strong technical SEO experience, including crawl/indexation, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, schema and hreflang
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and/or SEMrush
- Experience building topical authority and content clusters around countries, courses, universities, exams and related student queries
- Strong understanding of search intent across different stages of the study abroad journey
- Experience creating scalable landing-page structures while maintaining content quality
- Experience with link building and digital PR
- Ability to work closely with developers, writers and other teams to implement SEO recommendations
- Experience measuring organic performance beyond rankings and traffic, including leads and conversions

What you'll be responsible for
- Auditing the website and developing a practical 6–12 month SEO roadmap
- Identifying and prioritising opportunities based on potential business impact




- Managing technical SEO improvements across crawlability, indexation, site structure, speed and schema
- Developing keyword and search-intent strategies across Language Training and Study Abroad
- Building content clusters and topical authority
- Creating briefs for writers and reviewing content before publication
- Optimising existing pages and refreshing declining content
- Planning scalable landing pages for countries, courses, cities, exams and other relevant search journeys
- Managing link-building and digital PR initiatives
- Working with developers to implement and validate technical improvements
- Tracking organic leads and conversions through GA4 and Search Console
- Improving conversion performance on high-value organic landing pages
- Sharing regular reports covering organic traffic, rankings, qualified leads, key wins, challenges and next priorities

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to share one relevant SEO case study covering:

- Website and industry/niche
- Duration of your involvement
- Starting vs. current organic traffic
- Keyword/ranking improvements with examples
- Organic leads and qualified leads, where available
- Conversion or enrolment impact, where available
- Overall strategy
- What you personally planned, implemented and improved

Please note: Relevant experience with EdTech, Study Abroad/International Education or Language Training websites is essential. Generalist SEO experience without relevant sector exposure may not be considered.
