Job Title: Founder's Office – Event Marketing & Client Acquisition (Intern)

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, people-savvy individual to join the Founder's Office as an Event Marketing & Client Acquisition Intern. This role combines driving visibility and attendance for our events with identifying and converting business opportunities that emerge from them. You'll work directly with the founder, gaining hands-on exposure to event marketing, delegate acquisition, and client-facing business development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Marketing

- Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital + offline) to drive awareness and registrations for events
- Create and manage promotional content — social media posts, emailers, WhatsApp broadcasts, event landing pages
- Coordinate with design/content teams to develop event collaterals (banners, brochures, invites)
- Track and optimize marketing campaigns based on registration and engagement data
- Manage event listings and promotion across relevant platforms (LinkedIn, Eventbrite, industry forums, etc.)

2. Delegate Acquisition

- Identify and build a target list of potential delegates relevant to each event
- Conduct outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp to invite and confirm delegate participation
- Follow up consistently to convert invites into confirmed registrations
- Maintain and update a delegate database/CRM with registration status and engagement history
- Coordinate with delegates pre-event (confirmations, logistics info) and ensure smooth on-ground check-in

3. Client Acquisition

- Identify potential clients, sponsors, or business opportunities arising from event networks and delegate interactions
- Conduct outreach and follow-ups to convert leads into client conversations




- Prepare pitches and proposals for prospective clients/sponsors
- Build and maintain a pipeline of client leads from first contact through to closure
- Support in negotiating and closing deals under the founder's guidance

4. Founder & Strategy Support

- Work closely with the founder on event strategy, target audience definition, and client positioning
- Research relevant industries, companies, and individuals to build strong delegate and client pipelines
- Prepare reports on marketing reach, delegate acquisition, and client conversion metrics
- Represent the brand at events and support on-ground execution when required

What We're Looking For

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn messaging) and consistent follow-ups
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media promotion
- Target-driven mindset with robust organizational skills
- Self-starter mentality with high ownership and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment
- Must be based in or willing to commute to Bengaluru; this is a full-time, in-office internship at our BTM Layout office

Compensation

- Months 1–3: ₹8,000/month stipend
- Months 4–6: ₹15,000/month stipend
- Duration: 6 months, with potential for full-time conversion based on performance
