Role Description

We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, professional, and platform-ready content for Ornix Agency and our clients.

The role may involve short-form videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, brand content, social media content, and other digital campaigns.

You will work closely with our creative and marketing team to understand briefs, maintain brand consistency, and deliver high-quality videos within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and digital platforms.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and ads.
- Perform video cutting, sequencing, transitions, sound syncing, and basic color correction.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, effects, and visual elements where required.
- Create videos according to brand guidelines and client requirements.
- Select suitable music, sound effects, footage, and visual elements.
- Maintain organized project files, footage, assets, and timelines.
- Handle multiple projects and meet agreed deadlines.
- Suggest creative ideas for hooks, storytelling, pacing, and overall visual style.




- Make revisions based on client or team feedback.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of video editing and visual storytelling.
- Good understanding of social media content and current video formats.
- Ability to create engaging videos with strong hooks and pacing.
- Knowledge of color correction/grading, transitions, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow creative briefs.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
- A portfolio or previous work samples is required.
