Role Description The Food and Beverage Service Faculty role is a full time, on-site position based in Ranchi. The faculty member will deliver classroom and practical training sessions on food and beverage service, customer service standards, and professional etiquette, following Emversity’s curriculum and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing learner performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining an engaging and inclusive learning environment. The role also involves coordinating with academic and industry partners, organizing demonstrations and workshops, and updating course content to reflect current trends and best practices in food and beverage service.



The faculty member will support learner placement readiness by mentoring learners on communication skills, workplace behavior, and service excellence.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Food Service and Food & Beverage skills, with practical experience in restaurant, hotel, or catering operations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including handling guest interactions, service recovery, and maintaining service quality standards.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly, conduct training sessions, and engage diverse learner groups.
- Candidates should possess relevant Culinary Skills that support understanding of menus, food preparation basics, and coordination between kitchen and service teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field are preferred.
- Prior experience as faculty, trainer, or supervisor in hospitality or food and beverage operations is an advantage.
- Ability to use basic digital tools for teaching, record-keeping, and reporting, along with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to learner-centered teaching, professional ethics, and continuous skill upgradation in line with industry standards.
