Role Description The Fleet Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day fleet operations and ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective transport services. This role includes planning and coordinating vehicle deployment, monitoring trip schedules, and ensuring on-time deliveries in alignment with client commitments and company standards.

Manager will track vehicle performance, manage maintenance schedules, and work with drivers to uphold safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements.



The role also involves analyzing operational data, optimizing routes and fleet utilization, resolving operational issues, and collaborating with operations and customer service teams to support high-quality service.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in Fleet Management and Fleet Operations, with a proven ability to oversee day-to-day transport activities.
- Experience in Operations Management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and process optimization in a logistics or transportation environment.
- Sound understanding of DOT Regulations and other relevant transport and safety compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting fleet performance data, cost metrics, and operational reports to drive improvements.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management; prior work with industrial or bulk cargo is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software, GPS-based tracking systems, and basic office productivity tools.
- Effective communication, leadership, and team coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, transportation, supply chain, business administration, or a related field preferred.
