Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South for a Firmware/Baremetal/Low Level Drivers Lead/Architect with strong C programming skills and 8–15 years of experience. The role involves leading the design and development of firmware, bare-metal software, and low-level device drivers for complex embedded and semiconductor systems.

Responsibilities include defining software architecture, reviewing and optimizing C code, ensuring reliability and performance, and guiding the integration of firmware with hardware platforms.



The Lead/Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, participate in design and code reviews, and drive best practices in low-level software development and debugging. The role also includes mentoring team members, contributing to technical decision-making, and supporting project planning and delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded, bare-metal, and low-level driver development.
- Experience in firmware architecture, device driver design, and hardware–software integration for semiconductor or embedded systems.
- Hands-on expertise with microcontrollers, processors, SoCs, board bring-up, and low-level debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers).
- Solid understanding of real-time constraints, memory management, interrupt handling, and performance optimization in low-level software.
- Background in embedded operating systems or RTOS, bootloaders, and communication interfaces (such as SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, Ethernet).
- Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural and design decisions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Experience in semiconductor product development, post-silicon validation, or system-level solutions is an added advantage.
