Role Description The Manager Financial Planning & Analysis role at UrbanGabru is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and analyzing financial reports, building and maintaining financial models, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing insights on profitability, costs, and revenue trends.

The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business objectives, support annual and quarterly planning cycles, and ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies. This role also involves presenting analysis to senior leadership,



recommending actions to improve financial performance, and supporting new initiatives with robust financial evaluations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Finance to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess experience in Financial Modeling to build, maintain, and improve agile financial models.
- Candidates should possess skills in Budgeting & Forecasting to manage annual plans, periodic forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CFA, MBA in Finance) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and financial analysis software; advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with capacity to partner effectively across teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in FP&A; or corporate finance, ideally within consumer brands, retail, or FMCG.
