What you will be doing

- Reconciling the bank statement against Zoho Books and chasing down anything that does not match
- Coding expenses to the correct ledger and flagging anything that looks misclassified
- Checking sales invoices for GST compliance — place of supply, tax split, HSN/SAC
- Maintaining the TDS working, collecting vendor PANs and validating them on TRACES
- Keeping vendor and customer ledgers clean and up to date
- Preparing the monthly data that goes to our CA for GST and TDS returns
- Organising and filing supporting documents so everything is traceable
- Research on specific tax and compliance questions as they come up





Who we are looking for

- B.Com, BAF, BMS or similar, or pursuing CA / CMA
- Comfortable in Excel — lookups, pivots, basic formulas
- Understands what a debit and a credit actually are, and can read a trial balance
- Careful with detail. Most of this work is about catching the one line that is wrong
- Willing to ask when something does not make sense rather than guessing

Nice to have, not required: exposure to Zoho Books or any accounting software, any familiarity with GST or TDS, comfort using AI tools to speed up research.

Real exposure to GST, TDS, export invoicing under LUT, payment gateway reconciliation and foreign vendor payments — the kind of range you would normally take years to see. Certificate and letter of recommendation on completion. Strong performers will be considered for a full time role.
