Role Description The Field Services Engineer will provide on-site technical support for laser cutting, welding, and cleaning machines, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs. This full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru South involves performing routine and preventive maintenance, conducting diagnostic assessments, and recommending appropriate technical solutions to ensure equipment reliability. The engineer will interact directly with customers to understand issues, deliver timely service, and maintain clear documentation of service activities, reports, and spare parts used.





The role also includes collaborating with internal teams for complex technical cases, supporting retrofit and upgrade projects, and promoting safe working practices at customer locations.

Qualifications

- Strong Field Service and on-site support skills for industrial machinery, preferably laser systems.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques for electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
- Experience in Technical Support, including remote guidance, issue escalation, and service documentation.
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance tasks, adhere to maintenance schedules, and optimize machine performance.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics engineering (or equivalent technical field).
- Hands-on experience with laser cutting, welding, or cleaning machines, or similar CNC/industrial equipment is highly beneficial.
- Working knowledge of safety standards related to laser equipment and industrial environments.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as required and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
