Job Title: Field Recruiter (Technician Hiring, Water Purifier Service)

Reports to: Fleet Manager

Role Summary The Field Recruiter sources, screens, and onboards skilled water purifier (RO) technicians for service and installation teams. The role involves on-ground hiring through local networks, walk-ins, and job drives, along with online sourcing, to fill technician vacancies quickly.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand technician requirements from service/operations managers (number of openings, locations, skill level).
- Source candidates through ITI/polytechnic colleges, local service centres, technician communities, referrals, WhatsApp groups, Naukri, Apna, Work India, and Indeed.
- Conduct walk-in drives, campus drives, and local hiring camps.
- Screen candidates on RO/UV/UF servicing, installation, filter and membrane replacement, TDS checks, and basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
- Coordinate technical trade tests with the service team.
- Verify documents (ID proof, address proof, education, previous experience) and arrange background checks.
- Manage the hiring pipeline:



interview scheduling, offers, joining follow-ups, and onboarding.
- Track hiring metrics: time to hire, offer-to-join ratio, cost per hire, and 90-day retention.
- Build a talent pool of technicians for future needs.
- Maintain daily hiring MIS and share reports with management.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate or 12th pass with relevant experience (HR/MBA preferred but not mandatory)
- 1 to 4 years in blue-collar, field staff, or technician hiring
- Experience hiring for service, FMCG, appliances, telecom, or similar industries preferred

Skills Required

- Strong local network and field sourcing ability
- Positive communication in the local language, Hindi, and basic English
- Understanding of technician roles (RO service, installation, repair)
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Basic MS Excel and ATS/job portal knowledge
- Comfortable with travel and a target-driven environment

Compensation (indicative) ₹2.4 to 4 LPA depending on experience, plus travel allowance and incentives.
