About the RoleLocalButcher is looking for someone who enjoys being on the ground, meeting people and getting things done.

As a Field Vendor Operations Executive, you’ll work directly with neighbourhood meat shops across Hyderabad. Your job doesn’t end with signing up a vendor, you’ll help them get started, ramp them up on LocalButcher and continuously work with them to improve their performance.

This is a field-intensive role. You should be comfortable travelling locally and spending a significant part of your working day visiting partner shops.

What You'll Do

- Identify and visit potential meat shops/vendors in assigned areas.
- Pitch LocalButcher and explain our business model to shop owners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully onboard vendors.
- Collect and verify required vendor documentation.
- Help newly onboarded shops understand the LocalButcher app, order process and operating SOPs.
- Work closely with vendors during their initial ramp-up period and ensure they are ready to receive orders.
- Regularly visit existing partner shops and build strong relationships with owners.
- Monitor shop performance, including order acceptance, cancellations, availability, fulfilment, customer complaints and overall service quality.
- Identify why a shop is underperforming and work directly with the vendor to improve.
- Ensure product catalogue, pricing, availability and shop information are maintained correctly.




- Gather feedback from vendors and communicate ground-level challenges to the internal team.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, onboarding progress, follow-ups and vendor performance.
- Take ownership of your assigned area rather than simply completing a fixed number of visits.

Who We're Looking For
- We'd like someone with an on field experience who has practical experience in sales, business development and/or field operations. MBA is a plus
- More importantly, you should be comfortable walking into a local shop, starting a conversation with the owner, explaining a new business opportunity, handling objections and building a long-term working relationship.
- You should have 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in marketplaces, food delivery, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, logistics, merchant acquisition or other businesses involving field sales/vendor management.
- You should be comfortable with negotiation, targets, Excel/Google Sheets, reporting and using mobile apps for day-to-day field operations. A two-wheeler and willingness to travel extensively within Hyderabad would be preferred.
