Purpose of the Job: Co-ordinate technological activities of Compound mixing, Extrusion, Calendering, Cement mixing, Bead & Bias in shifts which includes, implementing specifications / process systems, process trouble shooting, process review for continuous improvement, support to manufacturing on scrap / waste control and or efficiency improvement, implementation of specification changes and evaluation &
disposition of non conforming materials. Implement actions for cost reduction and reduction of tyre adjustments.
Plan and organise area acivities related to Technical development/experimental/trial production.
Coordinate process audit/control and validation activities. Review of test data. Management of PRT items. Sent necessary MIS reports. Lead CFT for preparation of PFMEA, Control Plans and Work Instruction.
Major Responsibilities: Specifications: Approve, Implement & validate SFG material/process specifications. Make timely reviews and initiate actions for revision / modification of specification / process.
Technical Support : Control of non-conforming products / processes, disposing of non-conforming product / process, corrective & preventive actions, scrap & waste reduction, process modification, efficiency improvement, continuous improvement project
Technical Improvements: Plan and organise area activities related to Technical developments/experiments/trials and prepare necessary reports
