Role Description The Executive Pastry Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. This role is responsible for overseeing the production of pastries, breads, desserts, and related baked goods, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation.

The Executive Pastry

Chef plans menus, develops new recipes, and supervises the baking team, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring. Daily tasks include managing ingredient inventory, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, coordinating with kitchen and service staff, and optimizing production processes to meet demand.



The role also involves collaborating with management on product innovation, seasonal offerings, and cost control.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Bakery and Baking, with hands-on experience producing a wide range of pastries, breads, and desserts.
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking, including portioning, plating, and maintaining high standards of taste and texture.
- Advanced Culinary Skills, with the ability to design menus, create new recipes, and adapt offerings to customer preferences.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and compliance with local health regulations.
- Experience leading kitchen or bakery teams, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Robust organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operation.
