Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Estimation Engineer role located in Vadodara.

The Estimation

Engineer prepares detailed cost estimates for aluminum window projects, including material quantities, labor requirements, and timelines based on drawings, specifications, and site information. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project documents, preparing and updating BOQs, coordinating with sales and project teams, and supporting pricing proposals and quotes. The role involves researching market rates, assisting in negotiations with vendors or clients, and ensuring estimates align with company standards and customer expectations.

Engineer also helps track project costs against estimates and contributes to process improvements in the estimation function.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation for construction or fenestration projects.
- Background in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with understanding of building components and materials.
- Ability to conduct thorough research on materials, market prices, and industry standards to support accurate estimates.
- Negotiation skills for collaborating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on pricing and terms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation or ERP software, with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and client interactions.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; experience in windows, doors, or construction industry is an advantage.
