Emergency Response Assessment Analyst
Occupational Health | EMS Planning | Healthcare Research | Site Risk Assessment
Location: India - Remote
Employment: Full-time - Trilogy India
Experience: 3-7 years
Reports To: Project Lead, Trilogy NextGen (Irving, TX)
Work Hours: US Central Time
ROLE OVERVIEW
Trilogy India is seeking an Emergency Response Assessment Analyst to research and draft emergency medical response assessments for new data center construction sites delivered to a global technology client. Each assessment tells the client what medical care exists near a site, how fast an injured or ill worker can reach it, which local health hazards apply, and what on-site medical capability the client should fund.
Working remotely from India during US Central Time hours, you will build facility and hazard research, model response times, interview local providers, and draft report sections and cost inputs. A US-based, credentialed occupational health skilled reviews your work and signs off on all clinical findings and recommendations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Site & Health System Research
- Identify and profile hospitals, trauma centers, urgent care centers, occupational health clinics, EMS agencies, and air medical providers near each site.
- Document facility capabilities: trauma level and verification body, stroke and cardiac certifications, ICU and burn capability, helipad access, and hours of operation.
- Model ground and air transport times to first aid, emergency care, and definitive care, noting access constraints such as road conditions, seasonal weather, and rail crossings.
- Profile endemic and environmental health hazards using CDC, WHO, and state or national public health data, including heat stress, vector-borne disease, venomous wildlife, air quality, and altitude.
- Compile applicable occupational health regulations and industry practices, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, state plan requirements, and their equivalents for non-US sites.
Provider Outreach
- Contact hospitals, EMS agencies, and site stakeholders by phone and email during US business hours to confirm capabilities and response arrangements.
- Run structured interviews from a standard question set and record answers in the project research log.
Analysis & Reporting
- Draft report sections using the Trilogy NextGen template, including the executive summary,
facility capability matrix, response-time maps, gap findings, and draft recommendations.
- Draft equipment and supply recommendations beyond standard, such as AED placement, trauma kits, and location-specific items like snake bite or heat illness supplies.
- Prepare inputs for rough order of magnitude (ROM) capital and operating estimates covering clinic build-out, medical staffing, equipment, and training.
- Keep a source log that cites every figure, and flag data gaps and assumptions for reviewer attention.
- Revise drafts based on feedback from the US occupational health reviewer and the client.
Quality & Confidentiality
- Follow project research protocols and checklists, and meet weekly milestones for each site.
- Protect all client and site information under the client non-disclosure agreement.
Scope boundary: This role researches and drafts. It does not give medical advice, make clinical judgments, or sign off on findings. Those decisions are made by the US-based occupational health professional.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Education (one of the following): MBBS from a recognized university; B.Sc. or M.Sc. Nursing with State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council registration; Master of Public Health (MPH); or a Master's degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Health and Safety.
- 3+ years in occupational health, EHS consulting, EMS planning, hospital operations, or healthcare research, including at least 1 year writing research reports or assessments for US or international clients.
- Working knowledge of the US healthcare system: trauma center levels, BLS and ALS ambulance service, air medical transport, and the difference between urgent care and emergency departments.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards for general industry and construction, including first aid and medical services requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret epidemiological data from CDC, WHO, and public health agencies.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write client-ready reports in US English and conduct phone interviews with US healthcare providers.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, plus Word and PowerPoint; distance and drive-time analysis using online mapping tools. QGIS or ArcGIS is a plus.
- Disciplined research habits: checking facts against more than one source, citing every figure, and writing down assumptions.
PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE
- Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) or a Diploma in Industrial Health.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate, or OSHA 30-Hour (Construction or General Industry).
- BLS or ACLS certification, or prior clinical or EMS experience.
- Experience with construction, data center, mining, oil and gas, or other large industrial project sites.
- Experience writing emergency response plans, medical evacuation plans, or site medical needs assessments.
- Prior work for a US company or on a team serving US clients during US hours.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS
- Complete training on the Trilogy NextGen research protocol and report template.
- Deliver a complete research package for your first site within three weeks of kickoff.
- Confirm at least 90% of facility data points through a second source or direct provider outreach.
- Have your draft report sections accepted after no more than one review round.
WORK ARRANGEMENT & COMPENSATION
- Remote from India, with a reliable broadband connection and backup power.
- Company laptop and software provided.
- Background, education, and employment verification required, plus signature of the client non-disclosure agreement.
- Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits under Trilogy NextGen India Private Limited policy.
The right candidate combines clinical or public health grounding with disciplined research habits. You should be as comfortable confirming a hospital's trauma verification by phone as you are citing CDC data, modeling drive times, and writing a client-ready report section in US English.
