About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Device Monitoring & Telemetry Engineer with strong expertise in embedded systems, telemetry platforms, and observability solutions. The role focuses on designing and developing advanced monitoring frameworks for embedded and edge devices, enabling proactive device health monitoring, diagnostics, and operational visibility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in C#, Python, Embedded Linux environments, device telemetry, and edge computing architectures, with a passion for improving reliability, performance, and uptime across large-scale connected device ecosystems.

What You'll Do:

- Design and develop telemetry solutions for embedded and edge devices.
- Implement device health monitoring, diagnostics, alerting, and observability frameworks.
- Collect, process, analyze, and visualize real-time operational metrics.
- Develop proactive monitoring capabilities to improve fleet reliability, performance, and uptime.
- Define telemetry standards and monitoring best practices across device ecosystems.
- Develop backend services, monitoring agents, and diagnostic tools using Python and C#.
- Build APIs and microservices for telemetry collection, processing, and reporting.
- Create automation tools for device management, diagnostics, and operational workflows.
- Develop scalable applications to support monitoring of large-scale field device deployments.
- Implement secure and maintainable software following engineering best practices.
- Design and maintain monitoring dashboards using Grafana.
- Implement and manage metrics collection using Prometheus.
- Develop custom dashboards, reports, metrics, and alerting mechanisms.
- Define KPIs, SLAs, and operational health indicators for embedded and edge platforms.
- Continuously improve observability capabilities across connected device infrastructures.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based embedded environments.
- Monitor CPU utilization, memory consumption, disk health, network performance, and process availability.
- Optimize monitoring solutions for edge computing and resource-constrained environments.
- Work closely with device software teams to improve system observability and diagnostics capabilities.
- Ensure high availability and operational stability across distributed device fleets.
- Design and develop REST APIs for telemetry ingestion and monitoring integrations.




- Integrate monitoring platforms with backend services and reporting systems.
- Enable secure and scalable communication between edge devices and cloud platforms.
- Support integration of observability solutions with enterprise monitoring ecosystems.
- Analyze telemetry, logs, and monitoring data to identify operational issues.
- Perform root cause analysis of field incidents and device failures.
- Develop self-healing, preventive monitoring, and automated remediation mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, infrastructure, performance, and reliability issues across embedded device fleets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system resilience and stability.
- Participate in automated deployment, release management, and CI/CD processes.
- Contribute to system scalability, maintainability, and reliability improvements.
- Follow software engineering best practices, code reviews, testing standards, and documentation requirements.
- Support quality assurance and continuous integration initiatives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Use Jira for task management, sprint tracking, and project collaboration.
- Work closely with device engineering, infrastructure, operations, and product teams.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 5 to 10 years of experience in Embedded Software Development, Device Monitoring, Telemetry Engineering, or Observability Solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong hands-on experience in C# development.
- Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and software engineering principles.
- Experience working with Embedded Devices and Device Driver-related ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Automotive Domain systems, connected vehicles, or embedded automotive platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana for dashboarding and observability.
- Experience implementing monitoring solutions using Prometheus.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and application monitoring practices.
- Expertise in alerting automation, dashboard creation, and operational analytics.




- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting Linux-based embedded environments.
- Proficiency in Linux performance analysis, diagnostics, and log analysis.
- Experience designing and implementing telemetry architectures and monitoring frameworks.
- Knowledge of metrics collection, visualization, and fleet health monitoring.
- Experience with remote diagnostics and observability solutions.
- Familiarity with Edge Computing architectures and distributed device ecosystems.
- Understanding of edge-to-cloud communication models and monitoring strategies.
- Experience optimizing resources in constrained embedded environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and software validation.
- Strong understanding of production support, performance tuning, and reliability engineering.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with globally distributed and cross-functional teams.
