About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on ELV Automation Engineer to join our technical team in Ahmedabad. The candidate will be responsible for installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support for ELV and building automation systems.

The ideal candidate should have practical site experience and be comfortable working with electrical/ELV systems, automation controllers, sensors, networking, and client-side troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, test, and commission ELV & Building Automation systems.
- Perform system programming, configuration, and troubleshooting at project sites.
- Work with smart building automation, lighting control, HVAC automation, access control, fire alarm, and gate automation systems.
- Carry out site surveys, prepare wiring requirements, and understand technical drawings.
- Diagnose hardware, wiring, communication, and programming-related issues.
- Configure and test sensors, switches, controllers, relays, actuators, and automation devices.
- Support integration between different ELV and automation systems.
- Conduct testing and commissioning and ensure systems operate as per project requirements.
- Attend service calls and provide technical support to clients.
- Prepare basic service reports, commissioning reports, and site documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, electricians, contractors, and clients during installation and commissioning.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Ahmedabad and other locations when required.

Required Skills




- Practical knowledge of ELV and Building Automation systems.
- Understanding of electrical wiring, control circuits, sensors, relays, and controllers.
- Basic knowledge of IP networking and communication protocols is preferred.
- Ability to read electrical/automation wiring diagrams.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.

Qualification & Experience Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.

Experience: 1–4 years of relevant experience in ELV, Building Automation, Electrical Automation, or related systems.

Freshers with strong technical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to travel for project installation and service work.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred/required.
- Comfortable working at project and construction sites.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in automation commissioning will be preferred.
