Role Description The Elevator Mechanic role at BSVT is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Elevator

Mechanic will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair work on elevators and related vertical transportation systems within the institution and associated facilities.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting faulty components, and ensuring that all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with other technical staff,



and supporting training demonstrations for students when required.

The Elevator

Mechanic will contribute to a safe, effective, and reliable vertical transportation environment for staff, learners, and visitors.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Elevator Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair of vertical transportation systems.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Troubleshooting and working with Elevators and their mechanical components.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electricity and basic electrical diagnostics related to elevator systems.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or elevator technology is preferred.
- Prior experience as an elevator mechanic or technician, preferably in an educational or institutional setting, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, local codes, and industry standards for vertical transportation systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, interpret schematics, and complete clear maintenance documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to work independently or as part of a technical team.
