Job Summary

Orbit Solar Energy Systems is looking for an Electrical Designer to create and modify electrical drawings and layouts for solar and electrical projects. The candidate should have knowledge of AutoCAD, electrical systems, and design standards, and be able to coordinate with engineering and project teams for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Prepare cable routing, earthing, and lighting layouts.
- Assist in solar PV system design and electrical calculations.
- Revise drawings as per project requirements and site conditions.
- Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for design updates.
- Maintain accurate design records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards and safety regulations.
- Support the preparation of BOQs and technical submissions.

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.




- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Good understanding of electrical symbols and design standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualification:
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- ITI with relevant design experience may also apply.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in solar project design.
- Knowledge of PVsyst, SketchUp, or other design software.
- Familiarity with solar EPC projects.
