- Define, Establish, Implement, Maintain and Improve Occupational Health & Safety System keeping cost control as prime focus (ISO 45001).
- Define, Establish, Implement, Maintain Setting Mgt. System keeping cost control as prime focus (ISO 14001).
- Ensure 100% compliance related to Statutory and Regulatory norms (IE, Labour Laws, Safety Laws and Pollution Control Laws) and other laws applicable from time to time.
- Review and approve recruitment need for Safety Staff and ensure that adequate safety team are deployed at Site.
- Review and approve Site Specific EHS Budget and co-ordinate with PMG Head to support in zero based overall project budget.
- Perform a regular review of environmental and safety performance of RIPL.
- Submit EHS MIS to COO and CEO at defined intervals.
- Lead the emergency preparedness and disaster recovery capability of RIPL pertaining to Environmental,
Health and Safet related disasters.
- Maintaining relationships with all Governmental bodies including Pollution Control Boards, Health Care Organisations, Fire Authorities, State Labour Dept.
- Develop proactive culture encompassing Behaviour Based Safety, Near Miss Reporting, Hazard Identification and Risk Mitigation.
- Ensure that all Audit findings (Internal & External) pertaining to EHS are effectively closed.
- Overseeing operations of Project supplies & Field quality by monitoring process like document review & approvals.
- Expediting of Supplies, Inspection Coordination, Vendor/Trader/Contractor Evaluation & Performance Monitoring.
- Identifying Training Needs and ensuring that the training is availed by all concerned personnel.
- Documented Performance Feedback to be given to employees on quarterly basis at all Sites.
- Take initiatives to motivate and boost morale of team members
