Role Description The Director role at IET DAVV is a full-time, on-site leadership position based in the Greater Indore Area. The Director will provide strategic vision and academic leadership, overseeing curriculum development, teaching quality, research initiatives, and overall institutional performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding faculty and staff, promoting a learner-centered environment, and ensuring compliance with university, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

The Director will manage budgets and resources, support infrastructure development, and drive collaborations with industry, government, and academic partners. The role also involves representing the institute in official forums, strengthening stakeholder relationships,



and leading initiatives that enhance the institute’s reputation and impact.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic qualifications in Engineering, Technology, or a closely related discipline (Ph.D. strongly preferred), along with a record of teaching and research excellence.
- Proven experience in academic administration or institutional leadership, including overseeing programs, departments, or centers in higher education.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, policy development, and implementation to advance institutional goals and academic quality.
- Strong skills in team leadership, people management, and fostering an inclusive, cooperative, and learner-focused culture.
- Experience with accreditation, regulatory frameworks, and quality assurance processes relevant to engineering and technical education.
- Evidence of research contributions, publications, or funded projects, and support for innovation, industry partnerships, and consultancy initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with learners, faculty, staff, university authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and support infrastructure and technology upgrades for academic and research activities.
