We are looking for a proactive, ownership-driven DevOps Engineer to ensure continuous delivery, infrastructure stability, and rapid incident response across our cloud environments.

Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage, automate, and monitor our multi-cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will collaborate closely with software engineering, QA, and site reliability teams to ensure high availability, security compliance, and frictionless releases. Because our platforms support round-the-clock global operations, this position operates on a rotational shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, provision, and maintain secure, multi-tenant cloud environments (primarily AWS/GCP) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Automation: Build, optimize, and maintain automated build-and-release pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Containerization &
- Orchestration: Package microservices using Docker and manage deployments across Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) clusters.
- Shift Operations &
- Monitoring: Monitor production systems, alerts, and application logs using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack during assigned shift rosters.
- Incident Management: Handle Level 1 / Level 2 production incidents, troubleshoot build/deployment failures, perform root cause analyses (RCA), and escalate when necessary.
- Security &
- Compliance: Implement IAM best practices, manage secrets (HashiCorp Vault,



AWS Secrets Manager), and run routine container/code vulnerability scans.
- Collaboration &
- Scripting: Automate day-to-day administrative tasks using Python, Bash, or Go.

Required Qualifications &

- Technical Skills

- Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering capacity.
- Cloud Platforms: Solid working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, EKS, Route53) or equivalent GCP/Azure components.
- Containers &
- Orchestration: Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, Helm charts).
- CI/CD Tools: Demonstrated ability to build and troubleshoot pipelines from scratch (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
- IaC &
- Config Management: Working experience writing declarative infrastructure code using Terraform.
- Operating Systems &
- Scripting: Strong Linux administration fundamentals and proficiency in Bash or Python for automation.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts (including morning, evening, and night windows) with scheduled compensatory time-off.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
- Knowledge of service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) or cloud-native networking.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect/SysOps, CKA/CKAD).
- Exposure to database operational tasks (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB).
