Gunvatta Kendrak Solutions is looking for an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to support an Insurance Platform where applications are currently hosted on on-premises Windows/IIS infrastructure and are being migrated to Microsoft Azure.
The engineer will own deployment to both environments, implementing reliable automated CI/CD and zero-downtime releases, while helping build and transition the platform to Azure.

- Work with self-hosted build agents/deployment groups inside restricted corporate networks
- Manage IIS hosting for ASP.NET Core applications
- Configure IIS App Pools, site bindings, SSL certificates and environment-specific configuration
- Manage ASP.NET Core Hosting Bundle versions and in-process/out-of-process hosting
- Configure and maintain web.config and server-specific application settings
- Implement zero-downtime / near-zero-downtime IIS deployments using blue-green or side-by-side deployment strategies
- Work with ARR/load balancers, health checks and rollback mechanisms
- Automate Windows/IIS server configuration using PowerShell, WinRM, Web Deploy (MSDeploy) or DSC
- Implement a build-once, deploy-anywhere model using common versioned artifacts
- Manage on-premises secrets and deployment configuration
- Support SQL Server and PostgreSQL migration/deployment gates
- Plan and execute migration from on-prem IIS to Azure App Service
- Support parity testing, DNS/traffic cutover and rollback during Azure migration
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize application/platform deployments

- F5, NetScaler or Windows NLB experience
- Windows Event Logs and Windows performance counters
- OpenTelemetry collector in on-prem environments

Interview Focus
Candidates should be prepared to discuss a real-world scenario:
How would you design a CI/CD pipeline that deploys an application to 3 IIS servers behind a load balancer with zero downtime, health checks, and a reliable rollback path?
We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on IIS + Windows Server + Azure experience, not purely cloud/Kubernetes-focused DevOps profiles.
