About the Opportunity

We are seeking qualified Developmental Psychology and Child Development experts with a PhD to contribute to an AI-focused project at the intersection of psychology and technology.

In this role, you will apply your academic, research, and subject-matter expertise to help evaluate and improve next-generation AI systems. Your contributions will support the development of high-quality training data, evaluations, and expert feedback focused on child development, learning, cognition, behavior, and psychological development.

Prior experience working in AI is not required. Strong domain expertise in developmental psychology and child development is the primary requirement.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets related to child development and developmental psychology for AI training and evaluation.
- Assess AI-generated content for psychological accuracy, developmental appropriateness, cultural sensitivity, and contextual relevance.
- Provide expert analysis and feedback on scenarios involving children's learning, cognition, emotional development, social behavior, and behavior.
- Contribute to the development of scenarios, test cases, and evaluation frameworks involving children and developmental contexts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify potential issues and recommend improvements to AI-generated outputs.
- Develop and refine guidelines that help AI systems appropriately address linguistic, cognitive, emotional, social, and psychosocial aspects of child development.
- Review model responses and provide detailed, evidence-based recommendations for improving psychological accuracy and developmental relevance.
- Document findings, observations, and recommendations clearly and consistently.
- Contribute to research and evaluation initiatives involving developmental psychology, child development, and emerging AI technologies.

Required Qualifications

- or a closely related discipline.
- Strong demonstrated expertise in child development and/or developmental psychology.
- Experience through academic research, publications, teaching, clinical work, or professional projects related to child development.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide objective, detailed, and evidence-based evaluations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.
- Comfortable working with digital platforms and structured datasets.

Mandatory Language Requirement

Proficiency in at least one of the following languages is mandatory for this role:

French, Malay, Russian, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, and Gujarati

Candidates must have sufficient proficiency in at least one of these languages to understand, evaluate, and provide expert feedback on content in that language.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with technology-driven, digital, AI, or data-related projects involving psychology or child development.
- Research experience involving children, developmental stages, learning, cognition, behavior, or psychosocial development.
- Experience developing research frameworks, assessment criteria, academic content, or evaluation guidelines.
- Academic publications or research contributions in developmental psychology or child development.
- Clinical, educational, research, or applied experience involving children or adolescents.
