Job Summary The Design Specialist at Cyient, Inc. will be responsible for creating and developing innovative design solutions for a variety of projects, ensuring adherence to client specifications and industry standards. This role involves translating concepts into detailed designs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute design concepts from initial ideation through to final production using Comsof tool.

Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and specifications.

Interpret and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.

Collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.

Conduct design reviews, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.

Maintain accurate documentation of design processes, revisions, and project files.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new design technologies.





Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

- Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and present design solutions.

Job Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a design-related role, preferably within a consulting or engineering services environment.

Proficiency in ComSof and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).

Strong understanding of design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering mechanics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.

Experience with PLM/PDM systems is a plus.
