Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Design Head to lead the Design & Engineering function for centrifugal fans, blowers, gas mixing/boosting stations and associated industrial equipment. The role requires strong technical leadership, design expertise and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Design & Engineering team, including Engineers and Draftsmen.
- Review and approve designs, engineering calculations, drawings, BOMs and technical documents.
- Handle design of centrifugal fans, blowers, impellers, casings, shafts, bearings, couplings and related equipment.
- Review customer specifications, RFQs and technical requirements and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Production, Purchase, Quality and Service teams.
- Provide technical solutions for complex design, manufacturing and field-related issues.
- Drive design optimization, value engineering,



cost reduction and standardization.
- Lead new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support inspection, testing, commissioning and customer technical discussions.
- Mentor and develop the Design team and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.

Required Experience & Skills
- 15–20+ years of relevant Design & Engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a Design/Engineering leadership role.
- Strong experience in centrifugal fans, blowers, rotating equipment, industrial/process equipment or heavy engineering.
- Experience in ETO / project-based manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and any 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo or Inventor.
- Knowledge of FEA/CFD, ERP/MRP and MS Excel will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
