Role Description The Deputy Manager role at MEIL is a full-time, in office position based in Jagatsinghapur. This role typically involves overseeing day-to-day project activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring work is executed according to standards, timelines, and budget.

The Deputy

Manager monitors project progress, prepares and reviews reports, supports resource planning, and assists in resolving operational issues to maintain project continuity. The role also includes supporting compliance with safety and environmental regulations, liaising with clients and stakeholders as required,



and contributing to process improvements and risk mitigation.

The Deputy

Manager works closely with senior management to support strategic objectives and maintain high-quality delivery on assigned projects.

Qualifications

- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects, preferably within sectors such as water, power, hydrocarbons, or transportation.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards, with the ability to implement and oversee compliance at site level.
- Proficiency in using project management tools, MS Office applications, and basic data analysis for decision-making.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, including communication, coordination, and negotiation with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to lead and guide site teams, delegate tasks, and support performance management to meet project targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in project management are an advantage.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within infrastructure or industrial projects is preferred.
- Willingness to work in office in Jagatsinghapur and adapt to dynamic project requirements and timelines.
