- Location: Preferably onsite in Chennai; however, it is highly preferred that the candidate can attend the office in Chennai a couple of days per week during the first months.
Technical Skills
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Hands-on experience using Databricks
- Experience with data quality tools
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and pipelines
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Hand-on experience with Monte Carlo Data Observability
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure)
- Familiarity with Collibra
Data Engineering & Architecture
- Understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures
- Experience with batch and near real-time data processing using Databricks
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts (dimensional, relational)
Nice to Have
- Programming experience (Python, Scala, or Java)
- Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M)
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and lineage tools
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven environments (e.g., Banking)
- Certifications in data management or cloud platforms (CDMP, AWS, Azure)
