Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotator Intern to support the development and deployment of computer vision models. The role involves high-quality data labeling, dataset management, and close collaboration with AI engineers to ensure robust model performance in real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise annotation of image and video data (bounding boxes, segmentation, classification, etc.)
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across large-scale datasets
- Validate and audit annotated data to maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to refine annotation guidelines
- Assist in dataset preparation for training, validation, and testing pipelines
- Handle edge cases and continuously improve annotation quality through feedback loops
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Computer Vision concepts (object detection, segmentation, tracking)
- Familiarity with annotation tools (e.g., CVAT, LabelImg, Roboflow, Supervisely, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Basic proficiency in handling image/video data formats
- Ability to follow structured guidelines and maintain consistency
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Exposure to deep learning workflows or CV pipelines
- Familiarity with YOLO or similar detection frameworks
- Basic understanding of Python for data handling
- Prior experience in data annotation or dataset preparation
