Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a CT/MRI Technician based in Hyderabad. The CT/MRI Technician is responsible for performing CT and MRI scans as per physician orders, ensuring accurate positioning and image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. Daily responsibilities include preparing and explaining procedures to patients, operating imaging equipment, adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols, and verifying patient identity and clinical information.
The role also involves coordinating with radiologists and other medical staff, maintaining equipment and documentation, and following hospital guidelines and regulatory standards for medical imaging.
Qualifications
- Professional certification and registration in radiologic technology, such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent, with solid knowledge of Radiologic Technology.
- Demonstrated expertise in Radiology and Medical Imaging, specifically in CT and MRI procedures and protocols.
- Solid understanding of Medicine and patient care principles to ensure safe and appropriate imaging practices.
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or Medical Imaging from a recognized institution.
- Experience working with advanced CT/MRI equipment in a hospital or diagnostic center setting.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow clinical protocols, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and support patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by hospital operations.
