As a Credit Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing credit management and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your duties will include reviewing and analyzing credit applications, assessing creditworthiness, and making informed decisions on credit approvals. You will collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement credit policies, as well as monitor and manage credit risks.

Additionally, you will provide support to customers by addressing their inquiries and concerns related to credit and financial matters.

Responsibilities

- Review and evaluate credit applications, considering financial statements, credit history, and other relevant factors.
- Assess creditworthiness and make informed decisions on credit approvals, considering the company's risk appetite.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement credit policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage credit risks, including identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and concerns related to credit and financial matters.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for credit transactions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.




- Analyze credit trends and patterns to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in credit management to enhance the company's credit operations.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders, such as sales and operations teams, to align credit policies with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to credit operations and data privacy.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and credit evaluation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risks and make informed judgments.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools for credit management.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry developments and best practices.
