Key Responsibilities

Cost Vetting & Analysis

- Review and validate project cost estimates submitted by clients.

- Verify machinery, equipment, civil construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, utility, and other project-related costs.

- Benchmark project costs against current market rates and industry standards.

- Analyse vendor quotations for reasonableness, completeness, and commercial competitiveness.

- Identify inflated pricing, duplicate items, missing components, or inconsistencies in cost estimates.

- Assess the adequacy of provisions made for contingencies, installation, freight, taxes, and other project expenses.

- Prepare comparative cost statements and benchmarking reports.

- Evaluate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), rate analyses, and cost break-ups.

Market Research

- Conduct market surveys to obtain current pricing for machinery, equipment, construction materials,



and services.

- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, and contractors to validate quotations and pricing.

- Maintain an internal database of benchmark rates for various project components.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare detailed cost vetting reports highlighting observations, deviations, and recommendations.

- Document assumptions, calculations, and supporting evidence used during the review process.

- Maintain proper records of quotations, technical specifications, and benchmarking data.

- Present findings in a transparent, structured, and professional manner.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
